MCP undertakes the research work exclusively on drug synthesis, spectroscopic analysis by UV, IR, NMR, Mass, LC-MS, X-Ray crystallography, etc. It extends the support to execute the research works on formulation development, characterization and stability studies etc. It covers the analysis of drugs/API by UV HPLC, IR, SEM, TEM and XRD etc.
A Systematic extraction procedure is adopted to study the medicinal plants and to extract the active constituents from medicinal plants. MCP extensively supports the pharmacology and cell biology related research works. Both in vitro and in vivo studies are carried out meticulously to assess the LD50 and safety profile of the drugs.
All biological studies on various organs and systems are executed on rats, mice, rabbit, guinea pig and frog animal models. Drugs acting on CNS, ANS, CVS, Respiratory system are studied with photographic images. High-resolution cameras are generally used to take the photographs since reputed journals accept only high-resolution images.
Molecular biological studies such as western blot, qPCR, immunofluorescence analysis, ELISA, Flow cytometer, FACS etc. are carried out with utmost care.
